At West End Presbyterian Church, we believe that our purpose is to glorify God by enjoying Him forever, and our mission is to help followers of Jesus bring the Gospel to bear in every facet of our lives and culture.
We have this purpose and mission because of the Gospel. It is our deep, abiding conviction that our God has paid for our sins and given us new life by His grace alone. This has been accomplished, once and for all, through the life, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.
And this Good News changes everything.
“Your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.” (Isaiah 26:8)
If God planted His church here, He must have something for us. He must have something for this neighborhood. Taking the risk to make friends & sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ is what it is all about. No richer life than this.

Sometimes, Jesus uses West End Presbyterian Church as someone’s first church ever. Sometimes He uses us as someone’s last chance at hope or healing. The truth is, only Jesus makes each of us new.

“In Christ Jesus… the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” (Galatians 5:6)
Each one of us is looking for a place. While this world is not our home, Jesus calls the Church His family. And our Heavenly Father has graciously made room for us in His house.
